The Jamieson Legacy
Kidd is the older of two Jamieson brothers in Boston. He is struggling with anger and resentment issues toward his absentee father who never married his mother, but had the audacity to demand his illegitimate sons carry his last name. Kidd’s anger seeps into areas of his life as he disregards the legacy of the Jamieson name.
Through genealogical research, Kidd’s distant cousin Cameron has a plan to show Kidd and his brother Ace their worth as eleventh-generation descendants of a royal African tribe; also to give them choices: to be angry or accept the challenge of becoming strong, successful Black men.
When Kidd receives an invitation from Cameron’s older brother, Parke, to come to St. Louis for work, he is hesitant but accepts because his mother wants a better life for him. Initially he bumps heads with Parke, but when a series of events—along with a major love interest—take place, Kidd’s raging storm is challenged.
Will determination to keep up his bad boy attitude and hatred for the Jamieson name destroy him? Or will love and legacy turn his world upside down?
